Late Spring Wildflowers Dotting the Countryside

My choice for P52 Sweet Shot Tuesday is an image of a wildflower now growing everywhere in the dry countryside near my home.  It's Arrow Leaf Balsamroot; Native Americans ate the roots and ground the seed for flour.

It's a beautiful flower! And a very beneficial one, too! Love the old fence and dry grass - so pretty! xx

I think I bought this same plant from Home Depot! It lost its blooms recently but it finally has new ones ready to pop. It's such a pretty flower. Love your edit.

The fence gives the picture a nice touch, contrasted with the yellow in the flower, Nice!
