One of my favorite summertime "events" is to photograph the rodeo stock being delivered to our local rodeo grounds. Bulls and horses are fascinating to watch as they are unloaded from triple-decker trucks. The bulls stay in corrals with hay, grain and water, but the horses get to move to a small lush grass pasture behind the arena for two days before their part of the rodeo begins. Despite what some people think about rodeo animals, these are valued creatures who get special feed and care...and who "work" --at the most--for 8 seconds a day. (After lightening and desaturating the image, I added one layer of kk_postale and one layer of kk_cherish.) Linking up with Texture Tuesday.

Beautiful! I love this texture on your image.
Love the one "looking up" -- perhaps he's the lookout. :)
Really wonderful dream-like feel to this one, Evelyn!

What a dreamy picture! My hubby used to ride bareback broncs in his (much) younger days and he always tells me, "The horse comes out of the ride feeling MUCH better than the cowboy!" ;)
I want a job like that!
Beautiful work! Almost dreamlike. Very nice.
