Gathering Rosebuds

My roses are in their second bloom, and I know it's going to go quickly.  I rarely pick one, because I much prefer to see and smell them on the bush. Linking up with Kim's Texture Tuesday.

Two layers of kk2801

Nothing smells quite like a rose on the bush. Great shot and texture!

This is beautiful, Evelyn.
Our roses are in their second bloom also, but the Japanese beetles have also arrived. A lot more this year than last. :-(

I have to admit I've been neglecting my roses -- they have been overcome by the trumpet vine.

Very pretty edit Ev.

So delicate, and the water drops add a lot. Great quote! "Old time is a-flyin" indeed!

What a lovely image this is, Evelyn. I feel the same way about picking them.

Perfect processing for this gorgeous rose! Unlike you, we grow ours to cut and bring into the house. The key is to enjoy!
