Musing on Extended Summer Color

The coneflowers and black-eyed Susans continue to bloom in vibrant colors in the long strip next to the fence on the east side of our house.  I'm thinking I should plant them in other places, too, just to have this amazingly long-lasting color.  Joining in with Nancy's Tuesday Muse.

So beautiful! I love coneflowers and really want to plant some at my place. I think my grandma has some, so I may sneak a few from her :)

Awesome purple cone flower capture, Evelyn. They are one of my favorite prairie flowers.

What a beautiful bloom! We don't have these around here, but I wish we did!

I bet if you saved the seeds and scattered them in the fall, they would grow nicely.

Gorgeous shot, Evelyn. Hope you have a super weekend.
