Musing on Hope

This poignant scene is in one of our rural cemeteries.  Although I often visit the cemetery with my camera, this is the first time I've seen this simple little marker. There's no name, but someone has handcrafted this wooden "Hope" and attached artificial white roses.  I've edited the image with one of Nancy's early textures, which has no name, and I'm linking up with her Tuesday Muse.

Isn't it great, noticing new things just by carrying one's camera along? I love photography; it brings so much more into life!

beautifully processed, I do wonder thought what the story is behind this gesture of kindness and goodwill...

This is so sweet. "Hope" is one of my favorite words. The texture finishes your photo off so nicely. I love this :)
