Musing on a Neighborhood Cat

The squirrels and birds in our old Box Elder tree have attracted some feline neighbors.  Sunday morning, one young cat climbed into the tree, only to find an older cat already perched there.  They eyed each other warily, checked out the taunting squirrel above them, and then the older cat climbed down and sauntered across the road.  Before long, he climbed onto the hood of the neighbor's pickup truck and watched me---25 yards away in my family room with a telephoto lens.

I saw a cat perched on some farm fencing on my way to town yesterday and wished I had brought my camera...

Oh the look he is giving you. Great texture, adds a little mystery to the shot.

I think that cat has a 'stalking' look on his face! Just saying.

Cute kitty... I have a weakness for orange kitties... when I was a kid my folks had friends who never had kids, but they had a series of orange cats (be they male or female) they were all names George... go figure...
