It's a little creek that runs west to east at the south edge of our rural town; it fills the wide creek bed in the spring when the snow melts in the mountains; it completely dries up during the summer. Late fall rain with some mountain snow has made the creek flow this winter, but below-freezing temperatures are producing thick ice. For Texture Tuesday, I've added Kim's kk_deep sigh to an image edited first with Rad Lab.

it looks frosty cold. a nice place for a walk in the wood
Pretty winter scene.
There is something about the desolate look of winter that I just love. Beautiful photo of the icy stream and barren trees. I particularly like the colors here.
I have to live these beautiful scenes through all my blog friends, and although it has gotten cold (for here) we rarely ever see snow on the gulf coast except for after a hurricane year.
Oh my gosh! What a beautiful place! And that texture is perfect for it.
This is so lovely, Evelyn. I love the subtle color palette of the season.
