For Mona's Floral Love meme this week, I've chosen an image I took last weekend high up in the country miles north of where I live. (I drove 80+ miles just to start the narrow, steep descent to the river and back up the other side.) It was a trip that caused me anxiety (I'll post some photos at a later date), but I did see some beautiful wildflowers that are common to this area. These are wild lupine growing in a beautiful shaded corner--one of many corners--in the narrow lane high up in the country I was visiting for the very first time.

nice shot :)
Very pretty!
We have so much of this around House #2, Evelyn, and I never knew what it was. We have the cultivated variety, but I never knew there was such a thing as wild Lupine. It really is so pretty.
These wildflowers are so delicate and pretty. The drive there sounds like it would have put me in panic mode, too!
Beautiful shot.
This is wonderful. The color is just amazing.
Love the out of focus border, neat idea!
