Project 52 2014 #42
Some years, the colors of fall are especially varied and vibrant. These jewel-toned leaves are a short distance from my front door, growing in an alley against the wall of an old shop---I don't even know what's inside, although I've lived here 36 years. The owner is a homegrown mechanic, always working on some kind of vehicle, generally an old one. Its location in a residential zone, across the street from a century-old church, is one of those sights relatively typical in small rural towns like ours. But I digress. The colorful leaves decorate the weathered wood, and make a good choice for my Project 52 photo book. I'm linking again with Kent Weakley's Project 52 and Sweet Shot Tuesday.

luv the rich color
How beautiful, Evelyn! I love how it shows the whole fall colour range!
Vibrant colors! We don't have much color here -- it was too dry all winter. Thanks for sharing the beauty in your world!
What great colors/tones this shot has. Autumn really is a beautiful season.
Beautiful reds! Most of the leaves around here are golden yellow.
lovely. (i like my samsung galaxy 4, too.)
