I love vibrant colors, but I've learned to love the softer, lighter shades in my photography. Recently, however, I'm loving the moody look, and since I haven't gained enough nerve to re-try Lightroom, I'm creating "moody" in PS11. This is my choice for
Kim's Texture Tuesday.

Gorgeous!
Lovely use of texture in your image!
I absolutely love this! Moody and elegant!
What a gorgeous rose and beautiful photo!
Beautifully edited!
Wonderfully moody! I like the texture and the rose gives the perfect pop of color. Beautiful!
Well, I have to say you did moody very well, so pretty. I've had a hard time getting into moody but it will come. Honestly, it's as Kim says, once you get the hang of LR, you'll love it. Her LR31 was what really turned the light bulb on for me.
I like this very much. I tend to favor bold color in my color photographs also, but soft is nice too.
I do most of my editing in LR. I don't have PS or PSE- I use Perfect Photo Suite for my layering work.
So pretty! Love the pop of color!
Beautiful! I love the Black white and red color theme! Well done!
Wonderful moody example. It took me what seemed like forever, but LR is the bomb!! I only use PS now for layering and text! You should revisit it. You will love it once you get over the hump.
Oh my, that's SO lovely! I have a collection of pewter. You inspire me to get it out and start photographing!
So beautiful....I am having trouble with 'moody' but you have certainly captured the essence of this style. Please don't give up on LR, you will get it.....
This is stunning, Evelyn. I love it!

Beaitiful. Tjhe muted colors of the rose and the pewter are beautiful together.
