Picnic Table in Black and White
I haven't worked in black and white for quite awhile, so it is enjoyable to join up with This Weekend in Black and White. This table sits in a little park beside a highway in La Grande, Oregon. The drought and extended heat this summer has dried out all the tall grass and weeds in this little space.

I love the black and white shot...I rarely shoot in black and white but you have encouraged me to get with it....The tall grasses make this an interesting shot....

I like the simplicity of this photo. Great lines of the textured picnic table contrasting with the pale softness of the bleached grasses.
Such a great shot to capture outdoor natural textures. Love the black and white ...it enhances the grass nicely.
Nicely done. - I like the gentle feeling this shot evokes. - It's been dry here too. - I'm working with some BW this week, it's a different way to look at things for sure.
