Finally, we're having a normal winter for awhile. One thing we aren't having...but aren't missing...is wind. It's always a blessing when the air is calm when it's so cold outside. I took a Sunday drive to an area named Cricket Flat and thoroughly enjoyed the snow-covered land. I also visited an old wooden church, built in 1903, and abandoned years ago. It's not weathering very well.
Old memories of a song I learned long ago...
The north side doesn't look so bad...
The southwest side gets all the "weather" and it is sagging desperately.

My southwest side sags a bit as well..... Very nice images!
I like seeing these weathered buildings. They have certainly suffered through the years.
Old buildings have such character - even when they're sagging. Wish I could say the same about myself! Love your sun caught in the tree.
It would be so nice if the owners could reclaim some of the wood from this old church.
These are wonderful, Evelyn, especially the last one.
My kind of building! :-)
