The Beautiful End Stage of Sunflowers

Sunflowers have such a fascinating "architecture"...throughout their relatively short life span.  I've played around with some editing to accentuate that wonderful design.  (I just accidentally deleted a whole line of comments on previous posts! I wish Blogger had a trash can to protect dingbats like me!)

Beautiful details on the sunflowers. Sunflowers are always so beautiful from first bloom until the end of their life cycle.

These shots are just as beautiful, in their own way, as those of sunflowers in their prime. Great textures, I guess.

Oh dear, I am sorry about your comments, Evelyn. :-(
This series of photographs is really beautiful.
Our sunflowers are still going strong, but I am guessing probably not much longer, as the leaves are changinh and falling very quickly all of a sudden.
Have a wonderful week!

Such a beautiful and artistic series, Evelyn. I was born and raised in Kansas, so I kinda have a thing for sunflowers. ; )
