Life in a valley means I must go "up" to get a good landscape view. It's often frustrating, but it's necessary. There are areas I return to on a regular basis: Cemetery Road to the southeast, Fish Trap and Cricket Flat to the northeast, Palmer Junction to the north...whichever one I choose, it's more than two miles of driving. As a matter of fact, Cemetery Road is the only location within two miles. The road runs through fenced farmland, and I love wire fences. This particular fence and gate have been in the viewfinder of my camera many times, whatever the season. It's a great place to see the wonderful cloud displays we take for granted in this part of the state.
