Week 33 of Project 52

I am definitely challenged when it comes to photographing the moon...even a "supermoon."  This time, I researched what to do, what settings for my camera, etc., etc.  I was behind before I started, because I forgot the moon now rises more to the south; it was already past "moon rise" when I started out.  My husband drove me a little out into the country so there would be no utility wires or rooftops.  My photos looked terrible when I checked them; they seemed underexposed and out-of-focus.   We returned to the house in frustration, but I decided to try again.  I'm still not pleased with the focus, but my 70-300mm lens has been a disappointment in that area.   Here is my version of the second "supermoon" of 2014, definitely looking supernatural because of the massive wildfires in this part of the country.
