A sweet shot of the early fall sky
I thought it was Wednesday, but checked my calendar: this is my 'sweet shot' for Sweet Shot Tuesday over on "Life with my 3 boybarians." For the next month, this particular feature will be 'on hiatus' while Darcy uses her blog to teach "31 Days to a Better Photo." Meanwhile, back to my sweet shot: I live in a rural area, and it's at least 20 miles to anywhere. Driving home from 'somewhere' the other evening, my husband and I saw a car pulled off the two-lane highway. 3 people with cameras were leaning out of car windows and a fourth person with a camera had crossed to the other side of the road. As we drove by, I said, "Those are Japanese tourists!" They were photographing the sunset. Just half a mile farther, I made my husband pull over so I could get out and take my own photographs. (All the time, I kept asking myself: Japanese tourists in rural NE Oregon??)

Just beautiful. What a great shot.
Fabulous colors, like the crayon drawings of an innocent child...
