We really don't have any snow now....just rain, rain, rain....but I have this photo that I took just a few weeks ago. It's a barn that's very familiar to me from my childhood; the kids who originally lived on this ranch were of my generation. It was a widely known Polled Hereford ranch; I don't think anyone in the family lives there now, and I'm not certain that the barn sees much use. It's in fairly good shape, however, and I still love the white color of the barn and the other outbuildings. I'm linking up to Tricia's Barn Charm meme.

Beautiful! I love the white with the white snow in the background!
It's lovely -- the composition, everything. Beautiful
A fine looking barn that appears to be in very good shape. I like the overhang at the top...probably for a pulley arrangement. This is a fine post for Barn Charm.
What a beautiful scene, lovely image!
This barn looks nice against the snowy mountains. It is also nice to have a connection to the family of the barn, too.
Great barn...love the setting...so beautiful!
This is an awesome capture of the barn with the mountains.
That barn is a beauty! Hope it survives for a long time to come.
I would have to agree that barns have charm and this one is spilling over with it! I'm glad you stopped by my blog.
Check out that barn & I love the softness... beautiful... & the mountain in the background is, as always, an added bonus! =)
Thank you muches & bunches for joining Barn Charm!!! =)
How did you manage to make the gray tones of winter so visually beautiful?
Oh my! This is my dream landscape! I'm loving this! What a wonderful composition! Beautiful!
I love the soft tones in this and it doesn't look like it needed any touching up or changing much - maybe just a nice soft edge... My Bog Garden that I photographed is open to the public and I laughed when you imagine me just "breaking out" with poem. If you only knew how at times I struggle... :)
I love the backdrop of snowy mountains... beautiful!
This is beautiful Evelyn.
I especially like it because you do not see that many white barns. Most (here, anyway) are red.
Wonderful work!!
What an artistic photo. The white of the buildings against the white on the mts. in the background is, simply, very effective. The greytones also elevate the mood of the photo. It's time for you to produce a book of barn photographs!! Denise B.
