A sign of cooler weather?
We had clouds today...the first in at least a month. We've had two or more weeks of temperatures above 95 degrees (low humidity, though), which is a more extended period than normal. Today, it crept up to 99 by mid-afternoon, but then the temperature began to move downward a bit. There was a slight breeze and even those clouds. I chose this Instagram image for today's August Break.

we've had a cool front come thru here, as well. 90s instead of 100s. and some RAIN! woo hoo! last night dipped to 69 degrees w/the rain showers!

We have begun to have some cloudy days, and even some rain over the past couple of weeks. What is interesting are the mornings. Suddenly beginning to feel very fall-like. I guess it is that time of the year.

I've noticed Portland getting some pretty high temps this August. My daughter is sweltering because her apt doesn't have a/c. Poor thing! I hope those clouds mean cooler weather ahead.
