Once again, I woke to the sound of steady rain; I know the drier, warmer days are coming, and I'm ready. Meanwhile, my peonies are budded out, but only one has opened. Those pesky little columbine are showing up in various places in my flower beds. This pretty purple one has been edited with R H West's Divine and Serenity.

Oh, that one is so pretty! But I know what you mean about having unwanted plants. I have problems with Salvia and Coneflower!
Oh, my. The color and the flower itself are awesome! It rained the whole day my last day in Portland. We visited four waterfalls anyway. I had a great time in your state, Evelyn. You are blessed to live around such beauty.
This is so beautiful, Evelyn! I love your processing - so soft and delicate!
That truly is a beautiful flower, even if they are popping up in unwanted places!
Ooh, you're into the Columbine! I really like what you do with the textures, especially the white flower. (I'm partial to white flowers). That header image is amazing!!! Happy week to you Evelyn, I hope you have some nice weather.
That is gorgeous! I finally got some time outside after work today to shoot only to discover that the heavy rain over the past few days took almost everything out!
It is very beautiful!
they might be 'pesky' but sure make for a pretty background Evelyn. Do you ever pick them and bring them indoors in big bunches of?
