A year ago, I was cursing (not really) the columbine plants that have become almost invasive in my flower beds. I bought a few plants several years ago and they are now everywhere! They aren't the stately columbine variety that grows at my mother's, but are smaller. Their flowers just didn't seem very pretty, either. Well, this year, I've changed my mind. They are blooming now, in a wonderful variety of colors. There's even a white one that looks pleated. I've chosen columbine blossoms for
Tuesday Muse.

back from paris and catching up on blog visits
So lovely Evelyn!
So beautiful! We have some columbine planted at work in a courtyard - just yellow ones. I love the pleated white one!
They are lovely. The white one is positively exquisite!
They are beautiful and I especially like the white one! :)
We need a shady, moist spot to grow them here.
Just lovely - I have none this year - maybe I'll get some for next year, I really love them.
And your header is magnificent!!!!
I love that white one -- how beautiful!
These are so beautiful. I have some in a shady spot and am pretty happy they tend to be invasive - I'm always happy to see something grow there.
What lovely blossoms these are!
I love your columbines!
Evelyn, these are gorgeous, especially the white one.
Beautiful and that White one is so unusual.
Hi Evelyn! Thanks for your comment on my wildflowers, it brought me here to see these beauties!
We should have wild columbine blooming in a couple of weeks. I love it - such a delicate, yet snappy looking flower. The humming birds love it, too!
Lovely flowers and textures. So artistic!
