I'm rarely in front of the camera...but I do like this photo my youngest son took of me with his phone the day after his wedding in mid-August. We were returning the fabulous antique and vintage pieces that a generous antique store had let them borrow for their outdoor wedding. (Unique Antiques in the Sellwood neighborhood of SE Portland, Oregon) The rather ironic thing here...the little Sheltie is named "Toulouse," and he belongs to the owner of the store. Supposedly, he doesn't care for adults....and I'm not a dog-lover! He just jumped up beside me and made himself comfortable while we watched the action.

that's cute, evelyn!
I suppose Toulouse sensed something unique (dare I say... special) in you that he happened to fancy.
This is beautiful, Evelyn!!!
What a fab shot of you Evelyn... FYI, I am retiring after 15 years of driving a 40' 78 passenger transit style school bus. I had planned the last couple years to retire at the end of this school year after my 64th birthday. But my on-the-job injury last October, subsequent surgery, complications, PT, recovery and return to work has been very challenging to say the least. Then I thought I'd work through Christmas, then through Nov. 28 when my CDL expires and then just couldn't do it anymore, so my last day is 10.10, I handed in my retirement/resignation last Tuesday, it was a bit bittersweet!
Great shot, and this little dog who "adopted you " is so cute in his spot there!
That's because..
You're young at heart
and it shows
and he knows! ♥
that is a lovely photo of you Evelyn, and funny how the little Sheltie chose to jump up and sit with you
This is a fantastic photo of you! I love that the dog snuggled beside you like that, perhaps trying to make a dog lover of you yet! :)
love the header and love that shot .. you know its interesting i have noticed that animals are often attracted to those who arent overly fond of them and people with allergies to them
That is a nice shot. Toulouse looks happy to be with you.
Nice friendly dog, you take good photos, looking forward to seeing more
Those 'phone photos' have come a long way towards good quality and this shot is wonderful.
It's always nice to see the photographer every once in a while :)
