Musing on a Dry Hydrangea

My oldest hydrangea did really well this year....several large lime-white blooms. The dried flowers are about as interesting as the fresh ones--until the wind blows them off, as it's trying hard to do now.  I have used Nancy's newest texture, nc_weathered on the image for Tuesday Muse and Texture Twist. Isn't it a pretty texture??

Beautiful texture effect, and it's great done in monochrome as you accomplished.

My hydrangeas celebrated their
25th birthday this year and I was so relieved to see how good they looked. Last year was a bad year for them and I thought they wouldn't survive.

Super pretty. I do like the texture and the soft, muted feel of this piece. Very tranquil.

Your images says much of natural things losing their color and vibrancy as winter approaches. xo
