I suppose I've photographed the last leaf(ves) of the year, since it's now rainy, windy, and very chilly. But I collected some beauties before the wind and rain arrived.
These leaves are caught on a wire that once held a bird feeder.
For this one, I sat on the ground with my telephoto lens and focused on leaves backlighted by the afternoon sun.
It's hard to decide which I like more: the red or gold leaves. Both are really spectacular. Especially the way the light is hitting the gold one. Awesome!
These are beautiful, Evelyn! We have been hit with some really cold weather here, so it is definitely the end of whatever leaves were left. Feels more like January than November right now.
Simply stunning. I love the red leaves in your first shot. I'm drawn to the reds/oranges of fall. Still a lot of color left here in Wally world even though it was windy here yesterday.

one in a million indeed. Lovely photos reminders of the last of the colours I guess. I really like the colourful first image!
Will be sad to see them disappear... love the natural texture and lighting.

they are beautiful. ours have barely begun, here, but we don't have the maples to give the reds.
Beautiful! Yes, I've been out photographing the fall leaves every chance I get.

I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful! I am prone to capturing leaves too..
we walked down along the river so i could get some autumn leaf shots ... i wish we had more trees that turned bright color this time of year
I love seeing the colorful leaves from other parts of the country! :)
We don't get all that much 'color' around here.
Beautiful shots!
These are so pretty! My favorite is the leaves of red maples :)
