The Historic Columbia River Highway (Hwy 30) goes high above the Columbia River between Mosier and The Dalles. The highest point is Rowena Crest. One view is east "up" the Columbia River above Interstate 84. Another view is straight down from Rowena Crest to the "horseshoe" highway curve.
