REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Oh Deer!

We're actually surrounded by deer, elk...and pronghorn antelope in more recent years.  Our short drive on Valentine's Day produced sightings of many deer, both whitetails and mule deer.

Whitetail doe watching her youngster

This almost-yearling was so curious about us.

When the fawn walked too close to our pickup, the doe stamped her foot
and snorted loudly.  Then they both flashed those white "flags" and took off.

This mule deer doe was waiting for her fawn to cross the road and fence.\

The young one jumped the fence to join Mama Doe.
