Linking up with Weekend Reflections #90: The rain has been persistent in this part of the country this year; the Grande Ronde Valley is huge and the Grande Ronde River winds circuitously through the valley. It floods in the spring, but this spring brought more widespread flooding when the rain and snow melt combined. Acres of farmland are under water, but nothing like the Midwest. Willow Creek is a little creek that runs east under the highway into the river. We often see it flooded at least once during the year but this year, it has been at least 4 times. It looks somewhat like a lake now, reflecting the Blue Mountains to the west. (Yes, that's snow on the mountains and it's mid-June.) The metal gate in the foreground is connected to a fence, both presently underwater.

Kennedy in Reflection
Once again, it's Weekend Reflections on the Newton Area Photo blog. My great-niece Kennedy, who is 2 1/2, found her reflection in a silver-toned platter I use as a photography "tool." When she was just learning to walk, she liked to "kiss the baby" in mirrored doors.

Reflecting
It's amazing how many reflections we see every day, and having a challenge to photograph one makes them even more obvious. Once again, it's Weekend Reflections, and there are some fabulous examples already posted.
My choice this week is the reflection seen in a glass egg in a window, one of my favorite "created" reflections.

Reflections of the Visual Kind
Just found a new photo blog challenge: Weekend Reflections. I'm linking up with a photo of my own, taken at one of the many slow curves of the snake-like Grande Ronde River in NE Oregon. Water is high now because nearby mountain snow is starting to melt.
