REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Beautiful macro photography

I tend to flit all over the place when deciding anything 'favorite.'   But within the past two months, I have definitely settled on macro as my favorite type of photography---this after about 50 years with a camera!

"Blogging from Bolivia" has been my inspiration and motivation with "Macro Friday."  It's Week 21, but I've been in on only the last few.  Today, my shot is of a dandelion in seed.....that innocuous little 'blossom' that can have so much effect when the wind blows!   Keepers of green lawns shudder when they see children blow on these, scattering them far and wide.   But this particular one is in a dry field that doesn't seem to have much going for it.  (I've just decided that this isn't very 'macro' at all, but it will have to do for now.)

Something about this stage of a dandelion screams innocent childhood to me! :)
