Another fun challenge.....Barns!

One of the many great things about visiting blogs is finding links to still more blogs with interesting things going on!  "Barn Charm"  features barns....of all sizes, ages, shapes and colors!   Bluff Area Daily is the name of the host blog.

I just happen to love old barns, and I try to photograph as many as I can, particularly those that are seemingly in their last days.

This particular barn sits out in a field of alkaline soil near Touchet, Washington, a farm community in the eastern part of the state.   It was at least 95 degrees the day I had my husband drive on a little loop road so I could walk in ankle-deep soil to photograph the barn that sits alone. This image is SOCC.

Welcome to Barn Charm!

Fantastic capture... I love how you can see the sky thru the boards in the roof... I love photographing old barns, too, & this one is one I'd love to explore!

Thanks so much for joining, very much appreciated! =)

It is a beautiful barn and you wonder about the stories it could tell. MB

I'll bet it was a real beauty at sometime.
It still stands strong against a beautiful setting.
Love those shadows!

This one really appeals to me...I love barns, too. I have two blogs and both have a lot of photos of barns.

That's a handsome looking barn! It seems to be quite well "air-conditioned!" I'm a fellow Barn Charm participant!

This looks like a barn with an interesting history. I wonder what the pile of debris in the right of the photo is from.

What I love just as much as the barn is the tree just in front of it.
