It's
Macro Friday on Laura's Blogging from Bolivia, and I'm struggling again with something I love: macro photography. Maybe it's the season...the lack of light...the lack of subjects....whatever it is, I'm struggling. I did decide to put some color into what seems to be a gray existence right now: the 'eye' of a peacock feather.

Hi Evelyn - I can remember trying to take a macro of a peacock feather during the summer time and I never got up as close as this - my subject was more interested in wandering off in the other direction. Your macro is great as you can see all the little gradients of colour in the feather.
Don't worry about not being over at my blog - I'm exactly the same - tied up with so many things. It was lovely to meet up again through Macro Friday this week :)
Very pretty! The color and texture are wonderful.

I have some peacock feathers and I'm going to have to try this! I actually grew up near the LA County Arboretum, where peacocks roamed. They would fly up on our roof and screech at night. I miss their calls!
Pretty!
Wonderful macro! I always love the green and blue in peacock feathers. :)
