REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Oh, those wonderful barns!

Tricia's Barn Charm meme has introduced followers to so many wonderful barn structures around the country.  I've always loved barns, but didn't photograph them that often until I discovered Barn Charm. Now I'm building a collection of barn images, and each week I find another one or two that I'll be able to photograph soon.
This barn is a very familiar building to me.  It's located along 'the' highway in the county where I grew up; I've been driving for more than 50 years, and I can't even guess just how many times I've driven by the barn.  I do know that it hasn't seen much use for several years.

I like the high sloping roof in this barn.
I also am discovering just how many different styles of barns are out there, now that I need to make a collection for this meme!

I like the warm wood on the side of this elegant old barn. What a prize to find and shoot. A fine post for Barn Charm.
