REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

14/52

It's already one-quarter of the way into the year, and I've been able to keep up with the P52 Challenge posed by Darcy.   I'm especially pleased with this image because it's a look I've been working to achieve since I first signed up for Kim Klassen's 'skinny-mini e-course.'    I wanted to create a pale, dreamy image with one of my own photos.   It wasn't long ago that I wouldn't have considered photographing these dead weeds along a country road, but this week, they 'spoke' to me.  So does the quotation that I found on the internet.

( Kim Klassen textures:  De-saturation, Memorable soft light 100%, Italy soft light 89%, Italy inverted soft light 97%, Cloudy Day soft light 100%, Cloudy Day soft light 62%, Framed White soft light 50%)

Who needs flowers proper, when these weeds make for such characterful images. The lettering balances beautifully.
