When I visited NYC for the first time a year ago, I really wanted some kind of souvenir of the city (Brooklyn, actually) our oldest son calls home. I bought two black and white photos of the Brooklyn Bridge after we walked across it one day. But imagine my surprise months later to find a New York coffee/tea cup in a new little gift shop right here in my rural Oregon town. It's my choice for
Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday challenge....a texture photo featuring a cup. My entry is a double-dip.
My Facebook photo album of our trip (just a sampling of the photos I took!):

Very nice...my favorite is the one with the flowers :)
The first image really stands out for me, great treatment with the textures.
These are both great! The first one is lovely, and I like the feel of the last one a lot.
The cup must have been an unusual surprise and a great find, Evelyn. Love the second photo with the added items from NY. Very cool!
Both images are great but I find myself drawn to the second one in particular. What a fun find the cup was.
I love the second one ! Great composition: very urban feeling :)...The fist picture is great also...
Magnificent Photos full of sensitivity. I love the textures and frames and clean tones. Greetings
Oh, I like the 2nd one - accents the cup wonderfully!
Gorgeous mug! I love the softness of the first with it's beautiful flowers.
I also love the second image, with it's more gritty background & use of memorabilia.
Beautiful texture work!! lovely!!!
Cool coffee cup! Very nicely photographed and edited, but my favorite is the first one. Love the muted tones and treatment. :)

This is so gorgeous, Evelyn! I love both versions!
How lovely! Wonderful processing too! :)
Lovely images for Texture Tuesday!
My husband works in Brooklyn so I have been over that bridge many times. When my son got married, we had a terrific view from the wedding reception too...it's such an interesting bridge. Hope you enjoyed your trip to NY.
These are just beautiful Evelyn.
I cannot choose a favorite!
I hope you enjoyed NYC while you were there. It is quite an amazing place with an infinite number of photographic opportunities.
i love them both~ but the last one is over the top!
Wow. Beautiful! Really nice, Evelyn!
You did a lovely job with texture on this. The roses really set it off too.
Great texture. Great memory story. Kids out of state, good to have a cup around for a reminder one can put their hands around.
beautifully shot & processed... again, the texture is PERFECT! I love these... beautiful!!! =)
I love the top photo SO MUCH! My daughter is taking a graduation trip to NYC and I am going to send her this link!
