We got beautiful orange roses in church Sunday for Mother's Day. Last year, we received orange roses, but they were a different variety....amazing texture. I stuck mine in a vintage Ball canning jar for the photographs and then applied some of Kim Klassen's textures for Texture Tuesday.
Cool Grunge and She Loves You made this gritty image possible.

Or only grow R. "Zehphyrine Drouhin" :-)
That looks really old. In first instance you think of an old photo or catalogue. Cleverly done. With the hint of lace.
The textures you used and putting the rose in the old jar go together so well. Lovely image for TT.

love the grainy textures with the beautiful flower. Impressed that the jar is so blue with the textures applied. Lovely image
I love those blue ball jars--I can't ever seem to find them. I keep looking. Lovely processing. I love the grune with the softness of the flower.
Orange and blue are such marvelous compliments. Your photo is very lovely!
Very beautiful image! and the quote is so true. I just cut back my roses yesterday and tore a hole in my jeans and cut up my hands quite a bit even with gloves on!
