REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

I can edit, at least

One week ago today, I was in a hospital bed with a new right hip joint.  Today, I can sit at my computer, but I can walk only with a walker.  Photography is more than awkward, but I can  edit.   Today's challenge on Branson's Edit Me is a totally new for me: a darling newborn image!
My Reflection of Something

Kala at The Wishful Lamb has provided this photo:
For my edit, I ran the the Nelly Nero Action, "Blush," flattened layers, and then ran Pioneer Woman's Edge Burn at 27% opacity.   Another layer flattening , adding text in Picnik and some slight softening as well.

Oh my goodness, hope you're back up soon... fall is almost here & there's pictures to be made! Beee careful, though, you have to heal, first & foremost!

Beautiful editing, Evelyn =)

Hi Evelyn, I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering how your surgery went. I'm glad to know you are home and doing well enough to sit at your computer. Wishing you a very speedy recovery.

Your edit is wonderful. I love the soft feel you gave this photo.

Take care.

That's the great part of editing --- doesn't take any physical work! I hope you heal quickly!

I saw this photograph earlier, and absolutely feel in love. I actually downloaded it to edit it, but not sure if I am going to get to it in time. I love what you did with it here, and I am glad you are doing well!
