Stretching the definition of "fence"

It's Friday's Fences again, and I've chosen a structure that isn't really a fence.  It's much prettier than the wire fence bordering the lane to this ranch, however.

That is a substantial entry! Nice photos.

Those are some hefty looking logs! And maybe it needs something better than the flimsy looking fence beside it.

This is so beautiful!! Yes, the mountains and post entry are the stars of this photo, but I see the fence! Nice photo.

You're right Evelyn-a fence is open to interpretation. Just today have seen a thatch fence, my own rooftop snow fence and your handsome entrance to this ranch. Love the silvery sheen to the logs.

ooh la la - the light!!! you've captured such gorgeous light here. you live in a beautiful state. I hope your nephew likes the move to Colorado - he's leaving a great lake and heading to mountains! that's a big difference but I'm certain it will be exciting. Colorado is a lovely state too. have a great weekend Evelyn.

Evelyn, it looks fence enough for me! ;)

Gorgeous scenery. Makes me miss Oregon again. I love how your images here today just look and feel 'wintery' - even though there is no snow. The blue hues and tones, and one person here even mentioned the silvery sheen of the logs, are really really lovely. As always, wonderful images!

Happy Friday. :)

Love those large entry signs! This one is marvelous -- made from natural materials. :)
