Chick, Chick, Chickadees

Inspired by one of Nancy's posts last week to get out with a camera, even if the blah winter was all around,   I hopped in our pickup and took a short drive up a country road I hadn't been on in awhile.  When I saw a tree loaded with crabapples, I stepped out on the snowy road and walked back to find something with my 70-250mm lens.   What a pleasant surprise to see chickadees hopping around in the tree, chattering and pecking at the apples!   For Your Sunday Best, the main image features Nancy's "Denim Fade" texture.

Such an adorable little bird. We don't have those over here as far as I know... I must research that though before I affirm it!

What a lovely trio to open up to on a Sunday morning. It made my day!

All 3 are great, but that middle one is my favorite. Love the pink of the crabapples. Cool texture.
