REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

It's Flower Art Friday

I hope that past-their-prime coneflowers still qualify as flowers for Flower Art Friday.  Dried-up coneflowers are fascinating, with their little spiky heads and crumpled sepals.   I picked some when I was cleaning out my flower beds and spent a little time indoors with the flowers in a vase.  Then I went to Topaz Adjust and added some edits before finishing with Ruth West's beautiful "Chapel" texture.

When I see a stunning work like this, I wonder why I don't like to play around with textures applied to my photos...
I love the simplicity and the "old" feel to this shot!!
