Sunday Comes Quickly

It's Saturday, but it's time for Nancy's Your Sunday Best. I've been chasing wildlife the past few days....trying to get some good photos fairly early in the morning.  Elk, wild turkeys, and a Blue Heron have been recorded, but my choice for this week features early-morning fall color---with a heron just a part of the watery landscape (it had moved downriver when I stopped on the bridge to photograph it). I used this image for Photo Art Friday in my previous post....but it was "liquid."

Just the type of morning I could enjoy on a boat heading down stream...this is beautiful.

GORGEOUS! I wish I lived in an area where I could chase wildlife-although that does sound a bit dangerous?

Wow! Love this dramatic image! The colours are fantastic and I like the placement of the little bird at the front.

The heron enjoys the morning as much as we do.

Stunning! What got my attention first was the color, then my eye went to the heron, then the whole scene. Beautiful!! Congrats on a wonderful image. :) I stared at it for quite some time, just soaking it all in.
