Two-for-One on Photo Art Friday

"Liquid" is the suggested theme for Photo Art Friday, but I had to try out Bonnie's fabulous Blue Depths texture, as well.   I call my first photo "Liquidx2" because there is water in the original image.  I then played with the "Distort/Liquify" feature in PSE filter presets.    Below that is "Blue Flora Funky," which is the image of an ancient car sitting among pine trees at the edge of Flora, a ghost town in remote Northeastern Oregon.  I love photographing this old vehicle!  For this image, I used Topaz Adjust and applied Bonnie's beautiful Blue Depths and Steve Rich's Page Curl Frame.

Really like both of these. The distortion in this first one really adds interesting effects and I love how it turned out. Also, such a special car this is, and I can see why you like photographing it! Very nice

What a great idea to use the liquify filter for the "Liquid" theme! I love the result. I also love the old car.

Wow both these pieces are amazing. I love the bold colors in your last piece but I've got to say that first piece blew me away. Absolutely LOVE it!

Wow, these are both wonderful! Completely different effects, but beautiful processing on both. I love the distortion of the first one! Thank you for sharing.

In the first image, I like the way the distorted part creates a frame which sort of sinks into the picture. In the second piece, I like the contrast of the grass against the bold blue of the car.

awesome ... have you ever tried Adjust's psychedelic effect?

Well, both photos are very artful, but I am captivated by the edit of the first shot. The liquified edges are something else! Great submission, Evelyn!

Did my comment take? It said conflicting edits. :(

Its fun to take a photo and add some filters to see what happens. I think this turned out wonderfully. Valerie

ha! sorry Evelyn for the first comment. I was looking at Valerie picture while writing a comment in your comment section!

sorry for the confusion!

Anyway, as for your pictures I really like the first one. I love how you blurred the edges. It gave it a nice effect! and I truly enjoy the soft colors of this picture!

there are water spirits roaming in that first gorgeous image and the rusty old truck is captivating. the colors so bold and anything that shows it's age is full of story and mystery . . .

awesome work with this week's prompt.
