Way Up There

I finally have an image with a rural theme to fit into Madge's Rurality Blog Hop. This water tower, complete with warning fire siren,  sits above the little fire department building in North Powder, a tiny community of 439 people as of 2011, along Interstate 84 in Eastern Oregon.  The football field of Powder Valley High School sits right along the freeway.

I would love to be a part of a small town like this. It seems like a great place to be. Great photo! Blessings to you.

That's a beauty - I like how just a hint of color peeks through. What kind of texture did you use?
