Love for Aspen Trees

My favorite tree is the Quaking Aspen with its beautiful white bark and fluttering leaves.  I'm sure there are different varieties of the tree---when I was a child, my sisters and I shared a bedroom on the second floor. Outside our window was a small grove of quaking aspens, which made the most wonderful sound in a breeze.  As fall nears, our area is still hot and dry.  The trees aren't changing yet, and sometimes they don't make it before winter arrives.  These beautiful aspens grow in a park next to a river that doesn't hold much water right now.  I'm joining with Mona's Floral Love/Green Goodbye.

I used to love the Aspens when I lived in AZ and would drive up to the mountains. The golden leaves are so incredible.

Very nice, I love the light! We have to go up in the Huachuca Mountains to see Aspen trees around here...BUT you can see the grove in the fall by the splash of yellow up there! :)

The aspen is one of my favorite trees also because of the white bark. Lovely image, Evelyn!

This is such a lovely photo. So peaceful looking. I bet it was nice listening to the rustling leaves of these trees at night.
