Photo Art of Maple Leaf on Snow

It's a new beginning for Photo Art Friday , a meme I participated in rather haphazardly last year.   As soon as Bonnie sent out a reminder of the opening of the virtual photo gallery, I started looking for an image to use.  I settled on this leaf on frozen snow and applied two layers of Bonnie's "notes to myself" texture. I like how it frames the image with some text and still allows the texture of the ice to show.

I must say, I like it too. Very simple and yet intriguing. I think for a "haphazard participant", you do really, really well. Hope we see more of you in 2014 :)

Evelyn, I just love this and all it's textural qualities, and the colors are magnificent.
