REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

When It Snows, Photograph Snow!

We finally had real snow.....8-9 inches over two days.  I think it's supposed to melt in the next few days, which is disappointing to me.  It also means our little town will be in such a slushy mess!   But the temperatures should stay low enough for the mountain snow to stay in place....78 inches of it just 15 miles from my house.  That's not really a lot, but it's nearly 2 feet more than a week ago.

So while the snow is blanketing the surrounding area, I'm looking for snowy scenes before they disappear.

Beautiful capture, Evelyn. Great composition and I love the subdued colors.
We had just over two feet here on our little hill. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to get our cars out from under.. I'm getting cabin fever!

That's beautiful.
We don't get much snow here, in the Texas Hill Country. Just ice...ugh.
It's nice to see how pretty snow can be.

It's so beautiful! My daughter (Portland) sent video of her dog trying to potty in several inches of snow and it was pretty funny. But I know it's not funny for people who have to commute to work. :/
