Indian Valley from the north end. Our little town of Elgin is located more to the south and the Grande Ronde River can be traced by the line of trees; the highway crosses the river three times within a 5-mile distance.
My favorite grove of aspens, which I photograph several times each year and each season.
People often think these are birch trees because of their white bark, but those who know aspens recognize that feature.

Love these Evelyn. Super beautiful view of the valley and I liked both Aspen shots very much.
Ah, the aspens are back on your blog! Love them. And you know how to take their portrait. :)
