Texture Tuesday {Winter}

The snow right now is where my husband likes it...up in the mountains.  Fortunately, I can drive just a bit more than 12 miles to find some wonderful winter landscapes, which is what I did today.  I am joining with Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday. I erased a brown USFS sign (for snowmobile riders) from the original image, added a white vignette, and then added kk_hope filled in multiply blending mode.

Spectacular winter scene. I'm lulled by the quiet stillness of it.

Oh heavens, so very beautiful! I don't miss the snow from living in Chicago, but getting a photo like this, now that would be great!

This is just the way I love seeing snow too! Beautiful, and the trees are so tall! Love the touch of blue sky and love that you can clone things out of a photo that are not appealing (like signs)! Beautiful Evelyn!!

Beautiful winter scene! Even nicer that you don't have far to go to see it! All our snow melted in a December thaw last week, so I really do appreciate seeing a White Christmas! Thanks for sharing.--Michele at Sweet Leaf
