The snow right now is where my husband likes it...up in the mountains. Fortunately, I can drive just a bit more than 12 miles to find some wonderful winter landscapes, which is what I did today. I am joining with Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday. I erased a brown USFS sign (for snowmobile riders) from the original image, added a white vignette, and then added kk_hope filled in multiply blending mode.

The leading line in this photo is perfection!
gorgeous, such a perfect capture of winter's spirit.
Spectacular winter scene. I'm lulled by the quiet stillness of it.
oh! what a wonderful snowy lanscape Evelyn! it looks so like a vintage postcard... you've done a perfect and subtle post-processing work!I'd dream to walk in such a forest, pressing my feet in the soft and thick snow...
A wonderful piece of art !
Lovely winter-wonderland kind of image! :)
Happy Holidays.
This is so beautifully done, Evelyn!
ha...again...I want to see the original too.
;O)
This is so beautiful - it looks like a old post card. You have an amazing landscape at your fingertips!
Oh heavens, so very beautiful! I don't miss the snow from living in Chicago, but getting a photo like this, now that would be great!
This is just the way I love seeing snow too! Beautiful, and the trees are so tall! Love the touch of blue sky and love that you can clone things out of a photo that are not appealing (like signs)! Beautiful Evelyn!!
Gorgeous! Such a beautiful image - this would make such a wonderful postcard or christmas card.
Wow! Picture perfect. It looks too good to be real!
Beautiful.
What a beautiful winter scene.
A stunning winter scene. Of course your edit is spot-on! :)
Truly a winter wonderland! I love the leading lines in the photo.
Beautiful winter capture.
Beautiful winter scene! Even nicer that you don't have far to go to see it! All our snow melted in a December thaw last week, so I really do appreciate seeing a White Christmas! Thanks for sharing.--Michele at Sweet Leaf
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, and a bright and beautiful New Year, Evelyn.
