Texture Tuesday {Tulips on Newsprint}

Working in Kim's "Be Still" has opened my eyes this week to backgrounds.  Although I'm always aware of them in my close-up photography, I actually tried a variety of Kim's suggestions this week:  old wood, painted wood, tissue paper, scrapbook paper.   Joining in the fun of Kim's Texture Tuesday.

Oh, I haven't done this lesson yet, but it sounds great. Love the newspaper background for your pretty pink tulips. Beautifully done. :)

It is exciting to hear you talking about the prompts in your Be Still classes, and watch you try out new things. This is stunning!! Lovely soft pink, and the newsprint gives a nice airy background. Lovely, Evelyn!

Wonderful. Great idea. RTeally gives a fresh look to the photo. Reminiscent of when the florist wrapped the flowers in newspaper when you bought them.

I love the contrast between the newsprint and the tulips. I'm so glad to see such lovely tulip photographs this week. Aren't tulips the perfect advance sign of spring? I think that's why fifteen pink tulips found their way into my grocery cart today.
