Working in Kim's "Be Still" has opened my eyes this week to backgrounds. Although I'm always aware of them in my close-up photography, I actually tried a variety of Kim's suggestions this week: old wood, painted wood, tissue paper, scrapbook paper. Joining in the fun of Kim's
Texture Tuesday.

Oh how lovely! Love the idea and I might just have to "steal" it :)
Happy Tuesday Evelyn!
Oh, I haven't done this lesson yet, but it sounds great. Love the newspaper background for your pretty pink tulips. Beautifully done. :)
It is exciting to hear you talking about the prompts in your Be Still classes, and watch you try out new things. This is stunning!! Lovely soft pink, and the newsprint gives a nice airy background. Lovely, Evelyn!
hmmm...try the shot with a single tulip.
lovely shot of this and how beautiful they are on the newsprint!
Beautiful tulips.
Very pretty! Love the B&W paper behind these delicate soft pink tulips.
Wonderful. Great idea. RTeally gives a fresh look to the photo. Reminiscent of when the florist wrapped the flowers in newspaper when you bought them.
Love the idea of newsprint for background. Perfect for those pretty tulips!
Great background for your lovely tulips.
What a pretty backdrop and contrast to the pink. Happy Tursday.
Aren't we having fun with Kim....?This is a beautiful shot and I love the tulips on the newspaper...
The newspaper makes a great background. And the pretty pink tulips look luscious!
I love the contrast between the newsprint and the tulips. I'm so glad to see such lovely tulip photographs this week. Aren't tulips the perfect advance sign of spring? I think that's why fifteen pink tulips found their way into my grocery cart today.
Beautiful!!!
Love the pink tulips on that newspaper background.
Brilliant use of the newspaper! Love this.
