REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Facebook has Changed Everything

I used to be able to keep up with photography and crafting blogs just fine.  Then Facebook came along.  It's so convenient:  quick read, look at photo, click "like."  I can comment if I want, but often I don't feel I have the time.   It's not as convenient to do that with blogs, or even Flickr.  It's a shame.

And then add Instagram to the mix!  For that, I create square photos...play around with some edits, follow so many fabulous photographers.   I've decided to share some recent favorites of my Instagram posts. (I realize that I need to move beyond florals!)

I understand this post completely Evelyn! I presently do my blog, then share it on Twitter, FB, Pinterest and Instagram every time I post something! It is interesting to see the responses from each platform though, and I have a whole different group of followers on each. I kind of like having so many ways to get my photos out there!

Love the waterdrop photo :)

Oooohhh, those water drops are delightful! I love your photography and still life shots. Love seeing them on FB.

I feel the same as you about FB. Not sure how much longer I can keep up with blogging and FB-ing. I've already cut back to blogging once a week, but I'm on FB every day. MUCH more convenient. But I know some bloggers won't use FB. I think my blog is dying a slow death. It's just too time-consuming, sadly.

BEAUTIFUL! I do both-- keeping them simple-- daily. I find that the viewers' tastes varies.

Well, actually, I'm enjoying the florals. I'll have to look for you on Instagram - I'm a newbie.

Yes there is too much out there to follow and like and upload to, it can be overwhelming. Seems like Florals are your forte or your first love

Oh my, these are beautiful!
I know what you mean about facebook. I think it has distracted me from blogging. Also, I just got an iPhone and have toyed with getting Instagram...is this a good or bad thing...

Evelyn, these are just gorgeous!
I especially love the tones in the second and third ones.

I have not been on FB in forever! My kids just reminded me of that over the weekend. :-) Once things settle down here, hopefully that will change. I do not miss FB that much, but I do miss being here a whole lot.

You have a wonderful week!

These are lovely. FB is great but I still prefer blogging over it anyday.
