Texture Tuesday {Mock Orange and Baby's Breath}

When the extreme..and totally unusual...heat descended this week, the more delicate flowers wilted rapidly. The old Double Mock Orange shrub, which was old when we moved here 37 years ago, is fully loaded with fragrant blossoms---at least three weeks early.  It doesn't do well in 90+ degree temperatures, and its pretty white petals begin turning brown.   Joining with Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday.

The noddding of the mock orange is so sweet and your composition lovely! I think I have a wild form of the mock orange in my yard. Anyway it is wild now and not quite as double as yours. It's delightful scent reminds me of my childhood home.

Love baby's breath flowers. Use to grow them long ago to save. Your post reminds me that I should do that again. Love the white flowers also and the vases. Very nice. Have a great week. :)
